This is a new addition to our community plus Valentine’s Day is approaching so I thought I’d check this place out and let you know about it. It may turn out to be a great option for you and your loved one! My husband and I went on a Friday night and had a nice evening together.
Location and Parking
It could not be easier to get here. Practically right off the new Northern Parkway if you are coming in from the east and a breeze to reach from the 303 as well. In fact, the parking structure faces the Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium and Safari Park so you probably know how to get there without even needing your phone to guide you. At the other side of the building is a ground level open parking and there’s also Valet parking right at the main entrance. That area had the heat lamps going to keep it cozy as you wait for the car and I’d imagine that will be swapped out for misters come the warm season.
What’s Inside???
There’s one high stakes Poker Room, a high stakes Black Jack Room and a Sportsbook (with bar) for sports fans. The floor was filled with people enjoying the video/slot machines plus several tables for Poker and Black Jack.
I was not there for the shopping but there is also a stylish gift shop, Oasis that had a range of items. (Their handbags are currently 20% off if you are in the market for one!)
Restaurants
There is a nice range of dining options at this venue. There’s a casual food court with affordable pricing featuring sandwiches, salads, roasted chicken, Asian food and Mexican food. Everyone can find something tasty there. Plus drinks are available as well.
On the flip side, there is a Morton Steak House. Their food and restaurant is well known to be really nice. That’s the place to head for a special anniversary, first date, or Valentine’s Day.
My husband and I opted for the middle option (Entrees in the $20-25 price range) and went to Pub Stop. The menu board by the entrance makes it look as though it’s an English Pub but it’s actually more of a modern vibe once you are in and seated. Because it was Friday night there was a band playing so we settled in close to the music and enjoyed drinks and an appetizer. We both liked the Buffalo Cauliflower and I enjoyed my Dark Horse cocktail which was not overly boozy. Service was a bit slow but very friendly. Jeordie and her 2 band mates made a great musical backdrop with their folk pop music.
In Summary
It was a nice evening and everything was visually clean, appealing and sparkly. The guests all seemed to be having a fun evening with friends and family. Not sure if I’d make it my regular hangout spot but I’d definitely go again.
