I hadn't been to the Renaissance Festival in more than 12 years, and my kids had never been. We really didn't know what to expect but I knew it was going to be a long drive, so we got up early Sunday morning, grabbed breakfast from a drive-thru and made our way to Gold Canyon! Once we were inside we were a little overwhelmed with how much there was to see! So many shows, shops, performers, rides, and FOOD! (Remember, I'm a foodie!😁) We got started and made a stop at the Sword swallower show, then met Kira the Unicorn!

Then we went and visited with a real mermaid, she personally picked a real oyster for Brea to open and take home the pearl!

By this time, we were pretty hungry. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we quite literally ordered one of everything from the King's Kitchen. It was all so yummy and surprisingly affordable!

We ended our long, fun day with the Joust show and on the way out stopped at one more ride before we made our journey home.
