Are you looking for opportunities to give back in our community? Check out Lasagna Love! You can volunteer according to your own schedule and financial abilities! As a volunteer you choose how far you'd like to travel & you can give back as a family, individual, or group! Think about your Girl/Boy Scout troops, Student Councils, Sports Teams - everyone can volunteer!
Lasagna Love was started at the beginning of the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, when the founder was looking for a way to help moms in her community. She and her toddler started making and delivering meals to families in the neighborhood who were struggling, whether that struggle was financial, emotional, or simply a feeling of overwhelm. Families who have struggled with a loss, a new baby, illness, injury, or financial hardship - families of all kind are in need of these amazing donations of kindness.
Lasagna Love has grown into a national movement, with thousands of people all cooking and delivering meals to families in their communities. This amazing organization is only one year old! It's just in the infancy stages of what it can be, and we'd love to see more volunteers and growth in the west valley! It's been said that no one is sure who gets more joy out of this project - the volunteers or the recipients of this generous donation of a meal.
